Architecture Biennale Interview Now. Atelier Bow Wow. Part Four

Atelier Bow Wow, founded by Yoshiharu Tsukamoto and Momoyo Kaijima in 1992, is known for its interest in the issue of dwelling. They explore the urban conditions of micro scale in a macro scale (the city, such as Tokyo). This interview conducted by Hans Ulrich Obrist is the fourth that I propose to share.

Architecture Biennale Interview Now. Aranda\Lash with Island Planning Corporation. Part Three

Benjamin Aranda and Chris Lasch founders of Aranda\Lasch are my third favourite interview conducted by Hans Ulrich Obrist in the framework of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2010. Benjamin Aranda and Chris Lasch are among these architects I appreciate. Both graduated from Columbia University, Aranda and Lasch founded their office in 2003. They engaged in both experimental research and innovative building. Their publication Tooling, which contains their research from the beginning to 2005, is one of the most prodigious publications in architecture. They just exhibited at Décafé (Los Angeles) October, the 11th. Another performance is posted by City of Sound. This talk taken in real-time was given at Postpolis! in 2007.

Architecture Biennale Interview Now. Junya Ishigami. Part Two

The second sequel is the Japanese architect Junya Ishigami. Junya Ishigami, founder of Junya Ishigami + Associates, was born in Kanagawa in 1974. He worked at SANAA from 2000 to 2004 before founding his office. His projects are among others Yohji Yamamoto in New York (2008).

Architecture Biennale Interview Now. Sanaa. Part One

This is an abstract of SANAA interview conducted by the art curator Hans Ulrich Obrist (Serpentine Gallery). He, probably, is one of the most talented interviewers of his generation. Obrist was invited by Sejima Kazuyo to develop an exhibition on the diverse practices of all the participants involved in this international event. This project is described as "a portrait of an exhibition". The objectives was to allow the viewers to stop and listen these interviews.
This exhibition was located in one of the halls of the old Arsenale building, a place that has been designed by SANAA.

Here is the first of these series of interviews...
