This faceted tower will be designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merill in collaboration with developers Extell Development Company. The construction slowed down due to various reasons, among others, October 2008 market crash. This tower will be built as an exclusive property for the Diamond, Gem and Jewelry trade.
This all-condominium tower will serve as the new global headquarters of the gem industry. It will contain 5574.182 square meter (60,000 sqf) of retail with a restaurant, full floors, half floors and suites.
This 34-story commercial tower will comprise a state-of-the-art vault operation, secure valet parking facilities, underground loading docks, private executive club.
Prime retail will front 47th Street.

The building, which will have obstructed 360 views, will be clad in crystalline curtain wall with embedded steel medallions. Lobby will be designed with natural stone and glass details. Flexible floor plates will be employed for optimal office, showroom, manufacturing and retail layouts.
This International Gem Tower will comprise infrastructure for light jewelry manufacturing, including industry-specific ventilation and filtration systems.
Circulation will be provided by high-speed destination dispatch elevators.
