The March issue of Architect, a very interesting magazine on architecture examines Obama Administration's urban program. I will go back on it later. The title is Urban Renewal. According to what I read, President Obama will turn USA into a green city. I discovered several agencies such Interboro (see also Verb Crisis), or else CityLAB. I will present each of them this week.
In the same way, France is considering Paris in a new way: le Grand Paris. Today, President Sarkozy will present his viewpoints and wishes on Le Grand Paris. meanwhile, different exhibitions will open this month on this huge project. Today will be the opening of the exhibition "Le Grand Paris" with the presentation of consultation and projects from French architects and urban planner to foreign architects and urban planners among them MVRDV. I will go back later this week with some pics on Monday the 27th conference at Pavillon de l'Arsenal I took. Newt Thursday, I will go to the opening of an exhibition at Pavillon d'Arsenal that I confess I don't have the name because I don't have received the mail-invitation yet.
